Netflix outside US

According to the philosophy of this blog, and following the previous post (How to access Pandora Radio Outside U.S.) we are still looking for virtual borders to bypass. Now it is the turn to Netflix, one of the most popular video streaming services in the United States.

Netflix, is slow reaching other countries, making it unavailabre outside American borders. This block is almost always caused by negotiations with the intellectual property industry, which is not adapted to a global society, and want to keep anachronistic and decadent business models.
 

So if you try to access the Netflix page from any other country you may have this warning message:

Where do they think I live? In Westeros beyond the wall?

To skip this barrier, we will again use a proxy solution: KProxy Agent (step by step guide to download and run it is posted in my  previous post which provides a delocalized anonymous access to the internet.

So launch the application and make sure to select a server located in the U.S.:

Things change when we try to log back into Netflix. Now it detects that you access from a machine located on American soil and we can begin the registration process:

Et voilà! After a couple register data screens (once Microsoft Silverlight installed), we can see Netflix movies and series available:

We just need a little adjustment before view our favorite movies and series. When we try to launch any video, we will get the following error:

Microsoft Silverlight doesn't work if our browser is in 'incognit mode'. To deactivate it (note that you continue browsing anonymously behink KProxy servers, but let the browser store some configuration data), we display the optinos menu and select 'New Window' (or just press Ctrl+N):

Now we go into Netflix again (or copy and paste into the the address bar) and everything works fine:
